Happy Easter! A Pre-Easter Fete Sweetly Styled by Sugar Sugar

Getting ready for Easter is fun and in my house it's an excuse for loading up on sugar!  Peeps are a family favorite so, of course, I had to use them to decorate our Easter table of sweets!  This table was created on a budget using finds from dollar stores and things I already owned. I must say that T.J. Maxx is my favorite place to find dessert plates and cake pedestals.  All of the pedestals and platters used were bought in my neighborhood T.J. Maxx in Canton, GA.

I love pretty tables and desserts and enjoy looking over the blogs of bakers and stylists.  I find inspiration from Sweetopia's gorgeous cookies (and tutorials) and Amy Atlas' amazing eye for style.  Bloggers like Passion for Parties and Amy Locurto, to name a few, are also inspiring with their cute printables and goodies.  I don't proclaim to be like them, nor do I feel I will ever measure up but, they do inspire me and so I thank them.  The printables used on this table were freebies provided courtesy of  Shindig Parties to Go.

This small but very sweet table had lots of goodies for a small pre-Easter fete.

Lot's of sugary goodness!

Vanilla blueberry cupcakes were frosted with blueberry cream cheese frosting.

The pink lemonade was served in cute mason jars, adorned with a blue peep garnish and a colorful straw.  Also on the menu were peanut "bunny" sandwiches cut out in the shape of bunnies, yummy egg shaped sugar cookies on a bed of Jolly Rancher jelly beans, and just to make it extra 'sugarlicious', there were marshmallow ropes & cotton candy as take home trinkets in little goody bags.
